Profit Software keynote in Norway

On January 28th Profit Software will be in the Norwegian capital Oslo to present at an annual banking and finance event hosted by EDB.

In a keynote that will kick off the Savings & Insurance stream of the event, Profit Software sales head Tuukka Pulkkinen will examine several key trends on the Nordic insurance market and how these impact insurers’ IT strategies. In addition to looking at the system challenges faced by insurers, Pulkkinen will walk the audience through developments in group pension, unit-linked, bancassurance and risk-life products. He will demonstrate how the move from legacy IT systems to modern product-based solutions can bring insurers significant cost savings as well as open up new business opportunities.

EDB is expecting approximately 250 attendees to the 5-track conference addressing new products and services in Savings & Insurance, Cards, Core Banking, Channels, and Payment & Security. Insurance is an important new market development area for EDB, which recently chose to enhance its insurance platform with Profit Software’s web-based Profit Life&Pension solution (see press release).
