Hannu Vaajoensuu and Jussi Harvela to Profit Software’s board

 

Profit Software Ltd’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday March 6, 2008 elected to the Board of Directors two experienced experts in the area of internationalisation and business strategy – Hannu Vaajoensuu and Jussi Harvela. Hannu Vaajoensuu started as the Chairman of the Board.

Hannu Vaajoensuu, Ms.Sc. (Econ.), born 1961
Hannu Vaajoensuu, elected as the Chairman of the Board, has held several positions in the management of Basware Plc and acts today as the chairman of the board in Basware after being the CEO of the company in 1999-2004. Mr. Vaajoensuu is well experienced in software product businesses with a strong background executing international strategies. Today he also acts as the deputy chairman in the board of Comptel Plc and as the member of the board in  Efecte Plc.

Jussi Harvela, Ms. Sc. (Eng.), born 1964
Jussi Harvela has 20 years of global high technology business experience in various management positions. Previously he worked for more than 12 years in Solid Information Technology, headquartered in California. He led the company as president & CEO in 1999-2005. Today Mr. Harvela advises and mentors and holds board memberships in start-up IT-companies.
