OP-Pohjola Group chooses Profit Life&Pension

Profit Software has signed an agreement with OP-Pohjola Group to deliver a new generation insurance platform. Profit’s agreement covers the implementation of the Profit Life&Pension solution for OP-Pohjola Group, the largest financial services group in Finland. The system will cover the complete management of insurance sales functions, policy and claims management and includes the conversion of OP-Pohjola Group’s current system to the new platform.

In conjunction with IT upgrade, the project will focus on improving business processes around the group’s insurance sales, care and claims management. This will enable more efficient management of core insurance business as well as bring new web-based tools to self-service channels.

Profit Life&Pension is built on modern J2EE technology using the latest know how of life and pension insurance systems. The project is significant for Profit Software and will involve a close multi-year partnership. The project will apply a rigorous development and delivery process based on agile methods, ensuring a rapid deployment schedule.
